At the turn of the twentieth century, The Wardman Construction Company began building in Washington D.C. The President of the Wardman Company, Harry Wardman established a reputation for quality workmanship at affordable prices. During his building career, Wardman built more than 9,000 homes. The Wardman Construction Company also built many of Washington D.C’s landmarks such as Sheraton-Carlton, the British Embassy, The Hay Adams Hotel and the Fairfax Hotel at Dupont Circle and more than 400 apartments buildings.

“Many of… Wardman’s buildings still stand today, 60 of 70 years after he (Harry Wardman,) put them up…The Dresden was completed in 1912 and was one of Wardman’s first luxury apartment houses. It still stands a tribute to Wardman’s insistence on quality construction”

Now, in an economy where quality and services has sometimes taken a back seat to profit, I am continuing my family’s philosophy of providing outstanding quality and service.
